Welcome to my website and thank you for taking an interest. I qualified from The Contemporary College of Homeopathy in July 2012, after 4 years of study. I grew up around homeopathy (my father is a homeopathic physician), but it wasn’t until I had my own children, and used the remedies for them frequently, that I considered studying it myself. Once qualified, I started practicing from the Graduate Clinic at Neal’s Yard Remedies in Bristol, offering a low-cost clinic once a week. After a year in the Graduate Clinic at Neal’s Yard I moved into the main clinic, where I now practice on a weekly basis (please see Clinic Times for further details).
Since 2012, I have been running the Homeopathy Beginner’s Course on behalf of The Contemporary College of Homeopathy www.conhom.com. The course runs three times a year and allows students to learn about homeopathy in a relaxed atmosphere (currently running online!). I also regularly teach at the college, support students with tutorials and have been part of the teaching clinic.
In 2014 I started practicing homeopathy at the Chandos House Rehab and Holistic Treatment Centre, in Redland, Bristol (www.chandoshouse.org). This was a residential treatment centre for men with a history of drug and alcohol addiction. I saw residents on a 1-2-1 basis, supporting them through their treatment programme with a wide range of remedies. This work was incredibly rewarding, and introduced me to a whole new range of remedies that I may not have considered researching before. However, one of the most used / indicated remedies was Staphysagria 12c for styes! Sadly at the end of 2018, Chandos House had to close it’s doors.
At the beginning of 2019, I joined the team at NCIM – the National Centre for Integrative Medicine www.ncim.org.uk. I value working as part of a team, as well as continuing my private practice.
I have been a member of the Society of Homeopaths since being a student www.homeopathy-soh.org . Being a member means I practice according to a strict Code of Ethics and that I am committed to CPD – Continued Professional Development, which means I am committed to further study to expand my existing knowledge base. I regularly attend training courses, have 1:1 supervision, am part of a peer supervision group and have an up-to-date DBS certificate.
